Class Evaluation Final

Class Evaluation

This class was an amazing learning experience, I didn't think that i would like it here but it turned out to be a very pleasing class.I like that Mr. Haymore is always nice and thinks of his students and teaches us about life and how to get far.

One of the main things i didn't like about the class was that we didn't get as much free time as we needed.

One main opinion is that we should get more free time.

One of the best moments i had in this class was when Mr. Haymore was doing a ctr card check and it landed on me. I had my ctr card so as a treat i got some candy.

Yes I tried my hardest in this class nut what dropped my grade was not bringing my life planning goals notebook.

No i have not been reading my life planning goals notebook every day i have a habit of forgetting things but i will try to read for 5 minutes every day all day.

Yes I am a CTR person 100% all the way ever since i had this class in 9th grade i've been a ctr person. I also am going to continue seeking personal development for the rest of my life

"If you commit to excellence, opportunities will always come your way. The harder you work, the better you get."

Key 3: Concentration
"Make The best use of your time. Ask yourself "Is this the best use of my time?" before you start doing anything."

Character and Personality

This man is an amazing wise man that has taught me a lot about the 7 habits. One of his examples was that we are like icebergs we only want people to see our personality that's the tip of the iceberg and all our character and true self is under. We are suppose to be true to ourselves and not to hide things from others. We should sharpen our saws everyday.

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

Habit 1: Be Proactive
"Habit 1 is the key to unlocking all the other habits and that's why it comes first. It says, "I am the captain of my life. I can choose my attitude. I'm responsible for my own happiness or unhappiness. I am in the driver's seat of my destiny, not just a passenger."

Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind
"Control your own destiny or someone else will." (Jack Welch)
"When you know where you intend to end up, you know where you are now." (Covey)

Habit 3: Put First Things First
"Organize and execute around priorities"

Habit 4: Think Win-Win
"Think win-win or no deal."

Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, then to be Understood
"Diagnose before you prescribe."

Habit 6: Synergize
"The whole is greater than the sum of its parts (1+1=3)"

Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw
"The four Dimensions of Self-Renewal: Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Social/Emotional."

Reflection: I learned so much from these "& Habits of Highly effective People" i've learned to be strong not just physical but mentally too.

Six Ways to Make People Like You

Rule 1: Become Genuinely Interested In Other People.
 1) "Do this and you will be welcome anywhere."
2) "You can make more friends  in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you."

3) "Ask questions to other people, questions that they would enjoy answering."

Rule 2: Smile

1) "Actions speak louder than words, and a smile says, "I like you. You make me happy. I am glad to see you."
2) "You don't feel like smiling? Then force yourself to smile."

3) "It creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in a business, and is the countersign (witness or indication) of friends."

Rule 3: Remember names
1) "A man's name is to him the sweetest and most important sound in any language."
2) "If you don't remember names, you are headed for trouble."

Rule 4: Be a good listener. Encourage others to talk about themselves.
1) "If you aspire to be good conversationalist, be an attentive listener."
2) "Remember that the man you are talking to is a hundred times more interested in himself and wants his problems than he is you and your problems."

Rule 5: Talk in terms of the other man's interest.

Rule 6: Make the other people feel important - and do it sincerely.

"The desire to be important is the deepest urge in human nature." (John Dewey)"Helping people feel important and appreciated works magic."

Final Reflection: I learned so much from these 6 ways to make people like you.

Squirrel's

Squirrels are so cute they are the best animals in the world.
When I grow up i want to become a squirrel and live in a zoo so I can make fun of the animals that are not free like I am.

Look at this squirrel making fun of this kangaroo because it's trapped. if you want to become a squirrel like me one day then we should plan a coup d'etat against the government.

"The Six Attitudes of High Achievers"

John R. Noe

"The Six Attitudes of High Achievers"

High Achievers.....

1. Make no small plans- To make no small plans means exactly what it means when you grow up dont aim for a small job aim for a huge one like a CEO of a big company. Before you graduate you're suppose to know what you want to do in your life

2. Do what they fear- What this little quote means is that you should do something unexpected that others won't see coming. Be one of a kind and do something that well make people remember you for a long time to come.

3. Are willing to prepare- If you are willing to be prepared then you are ready for choices later in life.

4. Are willing to risk failure- If you are willing to risk failure then you are prepared to do what you must. You have to learn from failure otherwise you won't get far in life if you make the same mistake over and over again. Many obstacles are in our way for a reason so we can overcome them and learn from them and succeed in life.

5. Are teachable- People who are teachable are the ones who are ready to learn and succeed in life. They are the ones prepared for that long road ahead of them. You have to learn how to do things later in life

5. Have Heart- To have heart means your thoughtful and you try  to comprehend how others are feeling.  What if something bad happened to you wouldn't you want someone to care about you and be there for you?

Final Reflection: I have learned many from these past Six attitudes of high achievers. It has taught me that there is more to succeeding in life than being smart and having knowledge.  You need to have a good heart to in order to be truly successful in life. Choose the Right You Are Dismissed

9 Ways to be Happy and Make Something of your Life

Gordon B. Hinckley

1.Be GratefulWe can all be grateful for something, even if its not important to others. The only obstacle to being grateful is simply not observing with attention. We grow used to our blessings and we start taking them for granted, without realizing that they truly are blessings. The before we know it they can disappear in an instant. For instance, we take for granted having running water out of a tap - but go camping for three days and you will quickly notice how difficult and time-consuming the most common tasks become when you don't have running water. We all need to be a little more grateful, if we were a a little more grateful the world would be a better place.  You can choose to be thankful any time. For instance, I like starting my day by feeling gratitude while I'm still in bed. I sometimes choose to create a grateful day. What makes YOU tick? What makes your heart sing? What is it that you are most thankful for? For  my family is was makes me happy i'm so grateful for having such a wonderful mother that outs up with me.
Here is one of my favorite quotes that i like to live by

“We must find time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives.” ― John F. Kennedy

I find this quote so inspiring because its true. We never thank any one  for being there for us or at least making us smile.

2.Be Smart- What does it mean to be smart to you? To me being smart is finding creative ways to solve problems, and tough situations that your put in. Being smart doesn't always mean you have to have good grades in school and know everything. Be dont put down if someone calls you dumb (sorry for the bad word) or stupid because you're not you are smart in your own ways.

This is such a dope quote.

3. Be involved in good work- What does it mean to be involved in good works to you? Choosing the right is a way of showing that you are involved in good work. Good deeds don't go unnoticed. Good deeds surely reflect one's good character as they show how smart and humble one is in their personality. As many people believe that they need to do some sort of very different or extraordinary things to impress others, it is totally wrong. You just need to have some originality, politeness and adequate manners, for that purpose, if we are helpful then people will naturally understand our beautiful character, so the first thing to do from today should be being careful in the way we talk, helping the needy and not behaving like kids. Many would think why good deed has been included here, the reason is that your attitude towards others and your kind ways too reflect your personality and character. So if u r not kind and want to impress others, then u need to change your ways.

Even rich famous people can be involved in good work they dont have to be they can pay someone to do that. It shows how good a person can be when they want to be.

4. Be Clean- To be clean means to stay out of trouble and not dirty your self with being involved in drugs or gangs.  If you are already choosing the right then you shouldn't be afraid of dirtying your self you are already clean and pure. Choose The Right You Are Dismissed.

5. Be True- Being true to oneself is very important so you know who you are and what your purpose is in this world. One doesnt simply say they are someone else you have to be honest and be who you are. This statement #5 is the most important of all 9 of the ways to be happy because it shown who you really are. Choose The Right you are dismissed

As you can see this squirrel is being true with himself wanting to be like a human.

6. Be Positive-

7. Be Humble- I have no idea what it means to be humble. I've tried to understand but its still not clear to me lel.

8. Be Still- To be still means to be one with thyself. Just once and awhile go outside and just relax dont have any electronics out and eat a squirrel while your at it.

9. Be Prayerful

Reflection- I have learned many things from these amazing 9 Ways To Be Happy. They have opened my eyes and i am now a 100% CTR person i now do the school SLO'S. I think i can now be happy for the rest of my life.

The 9 Ways Concluding words by Gordon B. Hinckley

"There they are, nine Be's which, if observed, will bring handsome dividends to any young man or woman. They will add sparkle to your days and peace to your nights. They will save you from heartache and pain. They will bring purpose to your life and give you direction to your energies.

They will bring you friends of your own kind.
